Headbolt question

Default Headbolt question

I hope somebody can help if i put in a 416 kit with an 11:1 compression piston do i need different head bolts or can i use the stock ones??

Default Headbolt question

You probally use the old ones if they don't break off trying to get them off , but i would replace them with new ones anyway because the old ones have been sujected to such extreme heat that they wouldn't be as strong as new ones !

Any good machine shop or engine rebuilder would use new fastners on something that's subjected to these extreme temps to the metal of these fastners , at least any good good machine shop tech would for sure !..........

head bolts are cheaper than rebuilds
