Warrior Tires

Y is it so hard 4 me 2 find the factory size tires 4 my 01 warrior that I want. Is it common 4 people who have these bikes 2 change the sizes when they replace them? A little more clearence would b nice! The sizes r 22x10-9 rear & 22x7-10 front. Any suggestion on good tires 4 trail/mud tires/ Please help!! I have a flat from riding this weekend & am going again next weekend.

You could go with a 22x11x9 in the rear and 21x7x10 or 22x7x10 for the front. These are very common sizes for tires. I have heard the ITP mud lites are good mud tires and fairly low cost. I personally like more of a sport tire with the 20x10x9 Holeshot GNCC's in the rear. But if you want more clearance, you better stick with the 22's. The 1st number in the tire size is the overall height, the 2nd # is the total width, and the 3rd # is the rim size. The only # that is critical is the rim size, but you can juggle the height and width a few inches.

I've noticed that in the advertisements in say dirt wheels magazine the companies that advertise tires dont seem to advertise the factory size like you listed, but I would imagine that they still have them even though there not advertised, same with the local stores they may not be stocking much, chances are you will have to have them ordered, dont know about where you live but here in michigan snowmobile season is just comeing to an end getting almost anything for my warrior had to be ordered.

Yeah any company that deals with a lot of tires should be able to get whatever you want. 9" rear and 10" front rims are the most popular sport sizes, so you should be able to get just about anything in a 9" and 10". I'm sure the companies can't list all the sizes of tires that they offer in a 1 page add. The 8" and 10" rear are not as popular and are a little harder to find tires for than the 9".

i would look into getting kenda klaw tires they make the sizes you need and are great tires, good traction, last a while and there pretty cheap, itp mudlites razrs and holeshots are also nice, i think my warrior has 20x11x9s in the back

I was riding at Fingerlakes State Park near Columbia, MO and got a flat after riding about 30 minutes and since I had to drive 2 hours to get there I was needless to say pissed. Fortunately there is a Honda dealership within 10 miles of the place and I drove there and bought a pair of ITP Holeshot tires and rims. Not only did they give me better traction, they were also 6-ply which eliminated the "flat tire" problem. They wore really well and faced with replacing my current tires I will go with ITP again more than likely. I stuck with what came on the quad for size. I didn't feel that the Warrior had enough reserve power to accomodate a larger tire.

I would highly recommend the ITP Mud Lites on the rear if you plan on doing alot of mud, sand or snow riding. They also do well on hardpack, but there are better tires for hardpack if that is going to your primary terrain.

I have always wanted to stop and ride there. Is it pretty cool? Are there a lot of trails? My in-laws live in Moberly, MO.
