The DG exhausts stink! If you are going to waste your money (which is what you are doing unless you have a highly modified motor!) get an FMF, WhiteBros. or ProCircuit. These systems are much better, they mount up better than the DG and don't clang, bang and rattle around like the DG.
I have a completely stock 96 warrior, and keep up just fine with others on newer warriors that have had pipes on them.

All i have done is remove the stock exhaust baffle, there is a noticable difference. Like i said before unless your motor is modified, you don't need the new exhaust.

Bottom Line: DG Sucks, ask anyone!

Just my opinion.

Yeah, don't get DG, get White Bros for the exhaust. Id also get the Pro Design Pro Flow intake. It takes away any chance for the engine to suck in any dirt and lets much more air flow through.

98 Warrior- DG skidplates, ITP Holeshot XCTs on Douglas .190 rims, Pro Design Pro Flow intake

I have a 99 Warrior and if you are just putting on an exhaust the White Brothers is fine. But I put in a K&N air filter & Dynojet jet kit. Then my Warrior didn't run right I talked to a lot of people and they said to add more discs to the exhaust so I bought more. Then with all those mods my brother riding a Mojave with just a jet kit and exhaust could keep up with me. So I stuck the stock exhaust on and now my Warrior is faster.

Idiots, idiots, idiots... I had a 99 Warrior. Look at an Alba ad in Dirt wheels and call them. If you want real performance, buy the 390 cam and a 10.5 to 1 piston and the valve springs and a 150 main jet and drill a 3" hole in the airbox lid. It will only cost about 300 to 400 which is the same as a pipe and you will get alot more power, be quiet, and blow away people with pipes or missing baffles, and they will never know why...At that point, you should go from 17 to 22 hp, and if you put on a WBros E series, you will go to 25hp.

Exhaust is not a big deal on a warrior, but if you do want one,DG isnt the way to go, Go with the White Bros. For powergains you should go with a cam and piston. Preferably a high compression 10.25:1 from Weisco. Change your airfilter with either a K&N Powerkit or another filter of choice. If you ride in sand, get a foam filter, woods riding, go with a gauze type. All the mods I have listed wont give you alot more HP, but they will really increase your throttle response. I would rather invest the money into suspension and handling with a set of aftermarket shocks, tires, nerfbars and a lower bend to the handle bars. And do not overlook quality skid plates!! These will save you hundreds of $$ in the future! It might also be wise to install a aux. oil cooler.

I was looking in the white bros catalog and just saw that a company called Arias offers a 12:1 piston for the warrior. I have never heard of them and was wondering if anyone has?

I havent heard of arias (at least not that i remember) but a 12:1 would probably require race gas.

I have a supertrapp exhaust on my 98 warrior with no plates.
It also has 10.5:1 piston, web cam, springs, and has been ported and polished. You want to talk about a BIG power differance. My warrior not only hauls a$$ but it's the best sounding machine on the track including the 426's with a pipe. People all the time come up to me and start asking question. Like what have I done to it, damn that thing sounds healthy. Dude thats the fastest warrior I've seen. crap like that. I just tell them it's stock it just has a pipe. There really bummed when my old warrior throws a rock at them when there trying to chase me down.
