Default Big Bear 350, should I pick it up

I am looking to buy a 98 big bear 350 4x4. is the 4x4 selectable? Is this a good machine? How does it stack up against the honda 350?

I had a 89 350 Big Bear 4x4 ,I sold it to a friend and it has a zillion miles on it and still runs strong, great trail work ATV. It just over reved to much at 45 mph ,I really felt it needed a sixth gear for long straight logging road sections.

yes, yamaha should have put a 6th gear in those models, or geared the ratios different.
