Wolverine Exhaust Upgrade
#1
Just bought a 2007 Wolverine and I'd like to increase the power of the bike, especially the low end. It seems that putting an aftermarket exhaust on it is the best first step, am I right? I have been searching the forums but haven't seen any threads that really address my question. It looks like the HMF Sport and DG Race exhausts are decent options. I'm not too worried about sound but a nice throaty sound would be nice. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I've got an HMF on a Warrior for what its worth and it sounds great. I mainly just wanted to second the idea to steer far clear of DG exhuast. Its cheap for a reason.

rumor is hmf burns out sooner needing repacking but many people run them. you cant go wrong with fmf or white bros. if you have the cash. rumor on most forums also is you actually may loose power by adding a pipe alone if you dont increase your fuel flow with rejetting. a jet kit is about 100 to 150 bucks with a k&n included

I have heard good things about FMF...when I looked up White Bros, it appears they are out of business.
Is it pretty simple to use the Jet Kit? I have read lots of other people doing this but I didn't know it was so important to do. Thanks again for the feedback
