does anyone on here have a rev box on your 450r? i was wondering what kind of power you get with it, low end? top end? is it a good upgrade for the money? also wondering the same thing about a cam....

Cam makes a world of difference. IMO Rev box is not worth the money. Very minimal power gain.

CDI's are awesome and a must. But they're only worth getting if you buy a good one such as a Vortex or Dyna.

my buddy has a 450r and with the cam and high compression piston 14.1 was a tough quad to beat with my 06 yfz i had a slip on and an air filter but i could definetly feel more power from the honda. however it is true that the power gain may be minable with the rev box but i would say it is an absolute must. the honda has great power up top but is cut short by the rev limiter i feel thats why i was able to compete with my 06 due to being to hold out the higher rpm longer in the gear imo
