I DONT KNOW IF IT TRUE BUT I HEAR YOU CAN USE A WOLVERINE GEAR SET IN THE BIG BEAR, BUT IT SOUNDS EXSPENSIVE.I HAVE THE SAME ATV AND IT REALLY NEEDS A SIXTH GEAR

I also have a 2000 BB 400 4+4 and I feel the topend is too slow. I wish somebody would think of a way to get more speed out of this machine. Taller tires is the only thing practical to do at this time but maybe in the future Yamaha will make different ring and pinion gears or just a simple gear change inside the transmission will give the Big Bear more speed. If anybody has any ideas let me know! Thanks
