First off I just became A new member and I would like to say " HI " to every one, I own and ride A 2000 Scrambler 500 4/4 I love it not only is she fun in the trails but she is all so a work horse, I just put a plow on her and it works pretty good, But my son took it back to the river and swamped it, I changed the oil and dryed it out the best i could She turnes over and all the lights work But know spark what do I do Next " LOST IN VA."

 

So you have no spark? The stator probably got wet. Open up the case and let er dry out and hope thats it. I hope for your wallets sake it doesnt need replaced. Stators can get up to $350 easy.

HI its Kevin Again 2000 swamped scrambler 500 4x4 , How do you tell if the stator is bad? I got it all dryed out and still no spark!!!!!! Any help would be great .... Still lost in VA.

 

Kevin, where are you in Va? Are anywhere near Bedford or Lynchburg?
