Default 94 sportsman 400 4x4 not starting

i have good spark, good compression, cleaned carb and jet is .30. i ran it all day saturday and ran great. good power and all. But yesterday is was hauling a little trash on a trailer pulled behind at very low speeds and all of a sudden give out and have a very hard time starting again. finally started but no rpms barely got the thing stored. later in the evening i tried to start and nothing. today i pulled plug. deep blue spark at over 1/4 jump. plulled and cleaned carb. im still getting nothing. getting gas to the carb as well so im kinda stumped for the time being. Any suggestions and maybe some info on manuals will be good as wel since i have yet to locate one. thanks guys yall are great!

thanks for the response. forgive me for asking but im not to sure what or where the reed cage is. or the fuel petcock? is it within the carb? but i did figure out it is flooding if that helps anyone determine where my problem lies. i can clean the plug and it will start but soon bogs and floods the engine. does the floats get holes in them fequently?

Needle and seat in carb bad or float set too high, does gas run out of it while its sitting?

no gas running out of carb. i can clean plug and blow out without plug then it will run and idle for 5 minutes then floods and wont start.

sounds like crank seals/bearings are bad. not letting the proper vaccum to develop in the bottom end to get the fuel mixture to the top of the chamber. a leak down test can determine this.

Get the reed cage out of it and look at the intake side of the piston thru the port. Those vintage of 400cc had factory piston breakage issues.

i took the reed cage out this evening and found that the piston looked great. no issues that i can see. i have over 100 psi compression. so what other things should i look for. i cleaned the reeds they looked good as well. im kinda stumped. could the choke be a problem? im not sure on how to remove the choke from the carb to clean. thanks for the responses. would love to hear some more
