Default 04 Scrambler 500 Carb

Fuel drips out the overflow line when the engine is running but not when off. I've replaceled the float pin (not sure if thats the right name) but it didn't help any. Any idea's?

its the needle, if you mean the pin that stops the gas from going in that is hooked to the float. maybe the flaot needs adjusting? i know a little gas sometimes will be in the vent tubes but wont be a constint drip.

I've replaced the needle and seat assy and adjusted the float. When eyeballing it it looks like the float is level when the needle is seated. I did notice some pin indentations on the metal tab from the small spring pin on top of the needle. What problems will I run into if I adjust the float to much? Another thing, don't know if it's carb related but it started last spring sometimes the thing just doesn't want to start. It seems when its cooler (50 and below) out is when it gives me fits but once it's running I don't seem to have a problem after that. I was told this carb has an enricher and not a choke. Is there something with the enricher system I should look at?
