What to do? Have a 330 that stopped running. If you see old post I had on it, well my mech never got it running. So, anyway, he regretfuly turned it back to me un-fixed. The thing is still dead. He strongly suggest I either part it out, or sell it. Long story short the mech is good at what he does, so I kind of take his word on what to do, however he really never did like polaris. Should I take it elsewhere? Any suggestions?

 

These things are not that complicated.Take it to a shop that likes Polaris.There is only a few things that will cause it not to run.

 

no offence , but a good mechanic would never give you that advise. if its not his area of knowledge then he should suggest taking to someone who has that specail knowledge, like a polaris mech. imo.

 

What exactly did he say was keeping it from running? Seems like it would be motor related. Well, now would be a good time to get a hold of someone like Rick Ritter and get a 414 kit, new slip on pipe and some clutch work. If you can do the work yourself, you'll save a lot of money, and be very happy with the results.
