Jetmoto 150 Hitch and rear rack
#1
My boy has been bugging me for a rear rack for his Jet so I made one the other day. It measures 10"x 26" and a I used 3/4"x 3/4" tubing. It bolts right onto the rear handle bar there.
Also he was wanting a hitch so I made it too but had to make it a rush job (need the shop for real work) so I kind a took a short cut. My orginal plan was a bit more elaborate (stronger) but this should do for the little wagon we have. I welded a piece of 1/4"x 1 1/2" flat iron in there on the swing arm with a mig and ran a 3/8" bolt through it to secure the hitch. Then I drilled a hole on the top of the axel carrier and tapped it for a 5/16" bolt. There is a gap under there so the bolt threads are not touching the bearing carrier housing. The flat iron for the hitch is a bit of over kill its 3/8" x 2" flat iron with a 3/4" pin hole.
