New Digital Camera on order!!
#1
Hey guys, I just ordered a new digital camera and am getting a sweet deal. The company I work for pays for half of any computer related component over $1000.00.
I'm buying a Fuji FinePix 4900 ZOOM. Its a sweet camera that can take 160 sec. video clips. That'll be excellent for my new site I'm creating with one of my friends.
Heres the link to the camera if your interested in seeing the specs:

Girlfriend is getting a whole new system. 19" monitor, 30GB HD, 1 GB AMD Processor, 800 Epson Printer, Panasonic Burner 12X, DVD Panasonic. Its going to be a sweet setup. I have a 400 AMD with 17" monitor, blablabla..
anways, I can't wait to get my cam. Should get it in couple of weeks!

slywolf75,
Congrats on your new camera. Keep in mind that a 'still shot' camera will never produce the video quality that a dedicated digital camcorder will and a digital camcorder will never produce the quality still shots that a dedicated camera will (at least not today). If you are planning on using it mostly for video, you may want to consider a digital camcorder instead. I use a Canon G1 (3.3 megapixel w/ 1 gig IBM PCMCIA microdrive) for my stills and a Canon Elura 2MC for my video since neither one does the others job very well at all.
Good Luck...
Bart

Ok, I can live with that, I'm more interested in still pics but this camera has only been out for 4 months so maybe it has been improved. I don't know?? Thanks for letting me know but we'll find out soon enough. I'll test it and see what its like.
