rev limiter on 2003 viper 90r CDI?

Hi guys. i have a CDI box in a 2003 viper 90R. I was wondering how to get rid of it would it be just pulling it out and snipping the green wire?

I am not familiar with the R but the one with out reverse you just snip the green wire.

I don't think there is such a thing as a 2003 viper with reverse?..The year is important as they changed the CDI box to an adjustable limiter in mid to late 2000 models..
