Have an 03 trail boss that has been sidelined since last year. Tried to start it and all I get is a clicking sound. Traced it to the magnetic switch, when i try to start it you can feel it clicking inside. Could this be the only problem or could something else be causing this.

Try jumping around the solinoid and if it turns over that is your problem.If not it is either the battery or the starter
