800 tranny creeping
#1
I have a 07 800. When i come to a stop the machine wants to slowly creep forward still. If I put it in low range it will start moving on it's own. Im sure this has been discussed but i tried the search and did not find a answer. I drove 50 miles today and this is the only problem. It drives great. I will be taking the belt cover off this weekend to have a look. What should I be looking for? My friend has a 500 and said it might be the plastic buttons wore down? The belt was replaced about 500 miles ago and has no issuies that I know of. Thanks for the help.

Check the belt alignment belt should be riding in middle of primary equal space from the primary sheaves.(alignment tool works best). Could also be loose or broken motor mount usually the lower....

it would either be the ebs bushing, fiber washer in the primary clutch worn out, or it might be the clutch is out alignment which sometimes happens from a broken engine mount as the rubber mount seprerates. it wont be the buttons in the secondary as its a roller clutch.

There are 2 fiber bushings in the primary clutch, have to replace both, about $10 at Polaris dealer, just did 'em a friends '07 800 X2, cures the problem right away

Thanks for the replies. M i idle is about 1150. I do not feel to confident working on the clutch myself. I dropped it at the dealer today. He checked the motor mount right away and it was fine. He should be able to look at it tomorrow and let me know. It is also very hard to shift now as well. He said that is because the one way clutch is staying engaged and keeping pressure on the tran ny. I will upsate when I hear more. Thanks.
