2007 Arctic Cat 700 diesel
Now I have 4.2km on it what do I all have to do for the first 10km if anything? I see change oil filter and engine oil first 300miles...
But it makes no sense since I thought was the first 10km no?
Please help last thing I want to do is ruin it!

typically you change after the first 10 hrs and/or 100 miles. The diesel maybe different though. If it were me and the bike has not been on dirt roads sucking up the dust i would go to 300 miles then change it. If it is on dirt roads, id change it sooner.

Im not sure on the quad but we use the same engine at work in some equipment and it is always 250 hours for the first oil change. And they are broken in and ready to go out of the box.
Also watch where the fuel line runs up to the top corner of the engine, there are some connections and they are prone to weeping and collecting a lot of dirt!

Thanks for the info. Yeah on the schedule maintenance it says 300miles for the initial run.
So its a little confusing hehe when someone said to me since I did not buy to a dealer common to do it after 10 hours... But maybe this company flushes it them selfs?
