Default Aaen Megaphone Muffler???

I just found a clearance Aaen Megaphone muffler off there website for $100. I ordered it for my Sportsman 700. Anyone running one of these? Any opinions? Sound? Quality? Performance?

I have the Aaen megapower pipe for my 800 sp. I don't know if it's the same as the megaphone?? or not. However, I like it, it has a nice rumble at lower rpm's. Like I sed I'm getting a little better MPH. I do think it's quicker with the pipe on, however it is hard to tell, I didn't have the stock pipe on very long. The overall fit was perfect, it bolted right up. $100 was a great deal on that, you will def. be happy with it. I'm just running the pipe for now with stock filter. I do not have an efi controller. I did have a K&N filter on for a few rides, it was running way too lean. I put the stock filter back on and will prob just run it like that, untill I have the cash for a good efi controller. If you have a carb, you may need to re-jet, not sure. Aaen will have that info for you, if you have efi, you will be good to go with just the pipe.

This is just a slip on muffler. Not the whole pipe. Should be here tomorrow or Weds. I will let you know how it works.

I have a vid on youtube, not sure how to post it on here, it's not that great of a vid, however it's a pretty good sound clip of the aaen on the 800.

It's hard to tell on the computer but I think it sounds different on the 800 than my 700. But regardless I am very happy with the can. It fit nice and sounds great!

I did have a Aaen exhaust on my 800 sp it sounded awsome especially under load. It's actually for sale because I purchased the complete kit from Bikeman Performance. Head porting, bored throttle body, advanced timing key, high perf cam, header and full ceramic chrome exhaust and the full adjustable primary clutch kit and high perf helix for the secondary. It is now a stump puller man. The reason why I'm not keeping the Aaen exhaust slip-on is because it uses the stock header and with the opening of my exhaust ports the Y pipe on the stock header is not large enough to allow the flow of exhaust to exit fast enough. No sense allowing more air and fuel if you can't get rid of it just as fast, this is what creates POWER. Happy trails guys.
