Default 300 2x4 won't turn over..

All right... To set this up.... the 300 was running pretty well on the last trip until she started to bog down. I had to push her back with my Foreman because it couldn't even go up hill.
Now I have it back in the garage and I can't even get it started again.

1. I have charged the battery so there is enough voltage

2. There is spark when I pull the cord (Starter motor is shot so I have to pull start it)

3. There is fuel getting to the spark plug because the plug it wet everytime I pull it out.

Do you guys have anything I could check out on this pig?

Oh, and it is the 95' polaris 300 2x4.

How abut compression? Since plug is wet with fuel could have a top end problem?
If below 100 psi or pull start is easy to turn over, might check it out? Good luck

I have yet to toss a compression gauge on the head, but I haven't noticed a change from before this problem in the tension on the pull cord.

I know what your talking about, when I did the rings on my foreman I couldn't even pull it over by hand. I had to push the electric start and pull the cord at the same time to get it started (It also had a dead battery in the -10 degree weather). The compression was so high I couldn't turn the darn thing over by hand.

before this "new" problem it was taking a few pulls to get it started, but you knew you were close because it would putter a bit. From there all that was needed was a little gas or some play with the choke.

And thank you for the reply!

What about the crank seals would give me a problem? (I'm not asking to be an azz, I ask cause I don't know much about two strokes).

If the crank seals are gone, they allow air to come in, thus leaning out the fuel mix. If it will run with the choke on this maybe an area to look at.

Thanks Hotdog for explaining that, as of right now I can't get it to run at all. The only thing I still have to check is compression, but I think she is still pretty good.

I don't know how to explain it, but the best way I can think of is a spark plug problem, yet I have switched out the plug and it still won't turn over. everytime I check for spark there is one, and everytime I remove the plug it's wet; so there is fuel and spark but she still won't run.

Could the spark be too weak, or would it still run anyways?

Just an update... I checked the compression and she is still good. Checked the spark against the frame and there was a very small/weak spark. I then removed the ignition coil and checked the connections and when I put it back in place there is no longer a spark. So, do you guys think I messed it up or should I concider replacing the ignition coil? < Checked the price and it looks like a hundred bucks.
