ok here is the deal atv was running but leaking gas bad. i pulled the carburetors off rebuilt them and installed a new starter clutch gear. now i have no fire. i have changed the igntion coil it did nothing i installed a big gun rev cdi box and my reverse light comes on and it will not crank. i tryed to unplugg the charging side of the stator still no spark. i hate ohm meters but i have a book and tested to best of my ability and all test good.

I would check all the grounds first and all the wiring to make shure nothing got unpuged or damaged. After that it's time to get the volt/ohm meter out and start tracing wires. I found that rmstator has the ohm's limits on there website and which wires to check for your stator.. Other than that it's hard to say what's wrong.

Well if the power side and ground side is good, I would ohm the stator out. The cdi box is very hard to kill.

I don't think there is an air gap setting on it. At least not on anything I've worked on. I would check all the plugs and make shure that the pins are set right. I bought a rmstator kit for my warrior and the stator was built poorly at the plugs. I had to redo them after the first ride, kept coming loose and backing out of the plug. It's in rout back to them for the pick up coil going bad. I have a rickystator in it now and it seems to run better. Also, I would check the flywheel area and make shure that there's nothing loose floating around, or any kind of metal on the outside of the flywheel, That can cause a weird signal to the cdi box.
