I have a 95 Yz 85 i know its not an atv sorry but i need help. I can run it for a while then the radiator gets HOT and smoke comes out of th radiator hose to the bottom of the bike. Is the radiator too full of coolant or do i have a major problem?

If the radiator is full and you have no leaks, then, yes you should. You said it was smoking at the lower hose, I would look at that area for leaks, It may only leak when hot. If you don't see any external leaks then you may have an internal one, ie: bad water pump seal. If this is a bike you have bought used, I would get a new radiator cap, these were the seals out and the springs for the pressure releif get weak, drain the oil out and make shure you don't have a seal issue(the oill would be real milky), replace the oil with oil of your choice at this point, it's a maint. thing at this point. Then I would look at all the hoses for cracks, rips, soft spots and snug all the clamps up. Then I would drain the coolant out. At this point of time you don't know if it's just water in it. Replace with 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water. The antifreeze raises the boiling point of water and helps keep crust from forming insied the passages. Also, look at the radiators for any damage or leaks. Iv'e seen some tanks been crushed not letting coolant to flow. All the fins need to be straight and not bent closed so air can transfer the heat away. If you still have an overheating issue, you may have a head gasket or bask gasket issue.
