Polaris Belt Getting Wet... What can I do??
#2
Make sure that both intake and exhaust belt housing breathers are on tight and the belt housing cover is on right.
Nowhere else water can get in unless your just in too deep of water.

Make sure the seal on the cover is not kinked, and the drain plug isnt' leaking. You can use silicone as an alternative if the gasket is broke/damaged. A little bit more of a pain if the back cover is leaking.
Also check the breather tube for the cover and make sure it's not leaking too.
Belt shouldn't be getting wet every time unless you're really flying when you hit the water, or you getting up to the seat in water.

All as above is good advice. I wouldn't recommend any silicone though, makes getting it off a REAL pain, I have a friend who did it. Take the belt cover off, clean the surfaces real good, reinsert the gasket without any twists, put a bead of your favourite grease over that, and reinstall.
