Default Warrior trouble

I Have a 1997 warrior with a 396 stroker and cp racing piston. The motor has been rebuilt a few times for different reasons. So here are my problems.. around mid throttle i gets a very inconsistant rpms and sputters but when its wide open it has no problem. I tried rejetting it but didnt change a thing. I took out one of the plastic plugs on the case and turned the motor over and it shot oil out of it like it has too much crank case pressure. Im wondering it have some bad rings or a leaky intake valve. Anyone else have these problems? any suggestions?

have you tried adjusting the needle at all? also does it smoke any? valves might be a prob if the valve lash is way off or the seats are worn.

i dont thing ive ever pulled the timing plug out on mine, but as long as the crankcase vent isnt clogged it should be fine, if its sputtering at around mid throttle then most likely the needle needs to be richened up.

is your accelerator pump working freely? also the stock accelerator pump spring is trash from the factory is doesnt have enough tension to it, and cause the pump to work poorly and hang up, get a clicking pen and take it apart and take that spring and use it on your accelerator pump, it will work much better and possibly remove that little sputter you have.
