05 scambler fan not turning off

Default 05 scambler fan not turning off

with the key on or off the fan just keeps running? any ideas

Sounds like an ecm problem to me. In 05 they had alot of them recalled on the sportsmans. I dont know if there was a recall on the scramblers though. My 05 sportsman did the same thing when it was new and then it was fixed by the recall. I would call the dealer and see if it is part of the recall

ill bet its the fan temp sensor that turns the fan on and off. if i unplug the sensor mine will run. check the engine temp sensor. and i dont think a scrambler has an ecm. ecms are only on efis. carbs have a sscb or another box cant rember what its called.

Probably the old ecm module (chinese) 401110 I believe causing the problem
