Default 87 Warrior - No forward gears

I have a 87 Warrior that has been garaged for about 8 years. I just bought a new frame for it and installed it. I got it running good yesterday but I have no forward gears. Reverse and neutral work fine. You can feel the shifter click into each gear but it doesnt catch. Is it most likely the clutch or could there be some other problem? Thanks

most likely clutch is toasted, reverse is a very short gear so that might be why its the only gear it will move in, try to prop back wheels up so theres no weight on them and see if they will turn then, sometimes if the reverse lever is adjusted way off then it wont move either until pushed forward further most likely its something else though, my bet is if the clutch components havent been screwed with its most likely just a worn out clutch.

It was the reverse lever. It wasn't fully disengaging. The reverse lever is hard to disengage and put into its full forward position. It seems I have to move it half way, then put the bike into first gear, then push the lever all the way forward. I don't think its good for the gears this way. Is there a way to adjust or lubricate the reverse lever?

yea if u look at the linkage its got locknuts that keep it from spinning, loosen them and you can adjust the linkage one way or the other, it almost like a tie rod.
