05 polaris trailblazer 250 problems

Default 05 polaris trailblazer 250 problems

Hello every one my trailblazer lost the rear bearings and i removed the axle to replace them i have two questions that i need help with 1. I cannot seem to get the rear gear off the axle it has a bad bearing on one side and i removed the c clamp by the splineson the ither side and it wont come off im stumped and 2. how do i put the new bearings in like are they pressed or what do the just fit and seal when i reinsert the axle i just wanna make sure it gets done right

there is a jam nut on the axle. if memory serves me that clamp you took off actually sits in a grove on that jam nut. there is an aluminum housing that has to come off before the nut is actually revealed.

bearings just slide on like they do on a trailer axle
