Default Little Guys 5th Bday present

Picked up the little one a 49cc Wildfire for his 5th bday coming next weekend. I did some shopping around via craigslist/ebay/manufactures sites and decided on this one.

Ended up finding a brand new one, already assembled on craigslist for 400.00. Gave the guy 350 cash and came home with it. And being a "big kid" yet I had to ride it around for a good half hour, you know just to make sure it was safe but I think he'll love it. He loves riding my big polaris so I think he'll be surprised to see he has his own come next Saturday.

These babys can scream as well, not to mention its a loud 2 stroke but it does get up and move even with me on it so needless to say i'll be putting a throttle lock on for him in the beginning.

Yes congrats nice looking quad and i'm sure he will love it for sure , he'll think he's a man now that he has his own quad ; and by all means install a throddle limiter on the quad if it doesn't have one from factory for your own peace of mind !

Just an update the bday party was this weekend and we got his expression on video I had my Polaris cover over it and when he pulled it off his face was to die for.

Now for the first ride. not too bad actually, I hooked my tow rope up to the rear spring and kinda let him pull me around the yard until he got use to the throttle. About 2 hrs later I felt he was ok to go by himself. Mind you this does not have a throttle limiter on it. The first hour went good with no problems. Then....yeah he got a little over confident and cracked it open a little more around the corner and over it went. He went flying off and the quad rolled once and landed on its wheels. No tears, a little laughter from everyone. After we made sure he was ok we noticed the handlebars were bent and had a severe toe in on one wheel so we decided to stop for the day, and then the tears came flowing. Then more when he noticed he scratched his brand new helmet LOL.

All in all it was a good day, it honestly went 100 times better than I anticipated and I promised him I would have it fixed by this coming weekend. I work 12 hr days at work so it doesnt leave me much time to get much done during the week.

Any ideas on where I can get an aftermarket throttle limiter for it? Would like to pick one up asap as previously post, its just a good piece of mind. I'll try to get some pics up from last weekend, we got lots of good video though.
