Remove baffle Sportsman 400

Default Remove baffle Sportsman 400

i have 01 sportsman 400 that i want to remove the baffle out of. Has any one done this before. i cannot find anything on this.

the baffle in the exhuast i cut the end of of the muffler off and need to know how to get the baffle out.

to get more sound. ME and my buddy removed essentially all baffleing out oof his 05 500 and it really didnt make much of a difference. You could use a torch or plasma cutter but we used an air chisel

IMO removing the baffle (spark arrestor?) is a bad idea. Besides irritating your neighbors, campers and other riders with the noise, it's probably against the law.
Also it may change the back pressure and cause burnt valves? I'm not sure about that but the exhaust system was designed for that motor. Leave it alone unless there is a problem with it or you want to buy a custom pipe for it.
