Default seized blaster. Rebuild price?

I was hitting jumps with my budys. And right before i got to the top of the hill i heard weird knocking noises in the piston and then it shut off. I mix my oil gas ratio 50/1 and i am careful about it. But yeah, the thing is locked up. it wont even kick over. Anyways i guess its time to rebuild.

how much do the yamaha shops charge to rebuild the top end including shop time? What do you all think? Any approximate guesses or anything would be appreciated.

thanks for reading.

were you the one that broke the muffler off the back of it? if so thats one reason why it prolly got locked up, 2 strokes wont last long at all with just the headpipe, hard to say what theyll charge you but you can get a quote, most likely it needs a new rod, piston kit, gaskets and bored or honed, if you did it yourself it would be $300 bucks or so all together if they do it then its prolly gonna be twice that....just a rough estimate...

oh man oh man....blasters are pretty fun. i think i would rather have my warrior though. maybe try and sell it as is and get a warrior. warriors are hard to break. but i dont know if you like running with no muffler no telling what will happen.
