Sportsman 550 XP Oil Filter Cross Reference ?
Has anyone had any luck trying to cross reference the oil filter 3089996 on the Sportsman 550 XP's yet. It would be nice to find an alternative to the high priced polaris filter. I couldn't find a part # on the Wix website.

Makes sence, the Polaris oil change box kit says " For all single cylinder motors" At $25 Canadian for the kit I cant find a better price for two quarts of Full synthetic oils and a oil filter at the big department store anyays.
A quart of Amsoil 0w-40 is $11 each now up hear so that make the polaris oil filter $3 to me.
