ok so i have been working on all this stuff getting it ready and all snorked up.. but i was thinking about my exhaust.. not where its connected to the head... but the first bend there is a split and springs to compress it... somtimes i think i get water in threw there.. it has never died under water.. is there somthing i can do.. or be concerned about?

You could wire brush it real good and put JB weld around it. I have used it to plug a hole on an intake on a 366 chevy motor before. I think it would handle the heat.

I used the ORANGE high temp sealent with adding my slip on KOLPIN stealth exhaust to bind the connection works great! Had it submerged alot! so the water, mud and heat hold well. But again your application is true snorkeling, if JB weld or some other suggestions don't come pouring in you can try that. IMO.

FYI, you can find it at any auto store (autozone for me).

Cheers,

R'
