Unhappy 2001 wolverine 350 no power, can only pull start

Hi all,

my first thread, please help. Here's the problem, green neutral light went out, meanwhile i can start the bike on pull start and e-start would work only by holding the rear brake handle while pressing the start button. the green light was bugging me so i dissassemble the cluster to change out the bulb but the bulb is ok per ohm test. then all of the sudden the darn thing wouldn't even start on e-start anymore. i turn the key switch and move the red button over to RUN and push the start and nothing..not even the instrument lights or headlights would work. i check for 12v to the key switch and didn't get enough voltage. im a lost puppy now, can someone help!!

oh.. and if you don't understand something i wrote just ask, thanks

Default revised

i can see reverse light when switching to reverse mode and i can see temp light when pushing start button while the engine is on idle but both these lights are very dim (like not getting enough voltage)

neutral light still won't come on whatsoever

Check your battery connections. Also check the fuse that mounts next to the battery. My best guess is you have a loose connection, or bad connection somewhere.

jeff super,

your awesome, woo-hoo!! got it to e-start with reverse and temp and sometimes neutral woo-hoo!!

now i need to fix the neutral light to stay on always while in neutral. (could live without it for now) appears the shift pedal is not engaging the reverse circuit, however the neutral gear is working..i may need to go inside the crankcase...
