What's the concensus as to what the top end speed of the Rubicon is? For what I want to use it for, this issue is a consideration. Although, I must admit, I've probably already made up my mind.

 

while covering over 40 miles of gravel roads, its nice to know the rubi can rev out at 62MPH and cruse nicely at 50

 

I personally have only seen 58 MPH registered on mine and that is probably optimistic as most ATV speedos are-It's probably doing 5 -7 MPH less than what the speedo reads at that speed. Plenty fast enough for me as initial throttle response is more important to me and the Rubicon is great in that aspect.

 

Heck I havent tried to go above 40.........

 

today i had my 200sx and a friends 400 Xperss polaris peged at 50MPH for hours on end on a slead trail... felt like we were going backwards when sleds passed us at 90MPH
