I think this is a sad day for anyone who has ever had that feeling in there stomach when they hear an engine roar. NASCAR, and racing as a whole will never be the same. It really is a sad night for me and much of the country.

He was a good driver but he was driving too hard to keep all 3 of his cars in the top 3 money spots. I hated to see it happen and I really hate that they did not cover the crash, but instead went to the winners speech which could have been recorded and replayed. Its a great loss to all race fans, he was one of the best and always will be.

he would have wanted them to go to the winners circle and give the winner credit that he deserved. He was the type of guy that would want everone to just go on and for his son to keep doing what he died doing, dominating the sport!!!

I too will mourn the death of one of the greatest drivers in all motorsports. I was not an Earnhardt fan but I am a NASCAR fan. Sad day for all who loved him. My prayers are with the family.

Does this mean that my hillbilly neighbors will be flying that damn nascar flag on the front of the house all year long.?
round and round and round and round...makes me dizzy...I feel for the guy and his family..But how boring is nascar. round and round and round.
