i need a tire for XC racing, and general purpose trail riding. What would serve me best?..

 

Holesots or shredders seem to be a popular choice

 

Nac's grooved turf tammers are sweet

 

I have owned a pair of bandits and they where awsome!

 

razrs are more of a pure race tire, softer compound so they are going to wear faster.
bandits are a tough 4ply (I think) tire that will be a little heavier.
I have bandits and love em, but Im not racing.
I think you will be happy with any.
