Will a rear shock off of a 2001 honda 400ex fit on a 1993 honda 300ex.Thanks!

 

nah its completely different. you need a o1 raptor shock.do a search theres alot of info on it. 400ex fronts will bolt on with the help of a diamond customs bracket. which greatly improves the 300

 

Will a rear shock off or a 06 yamaha 450 fit on it or no also.

 

doubt it. do a search on here. theres articles about it. the 01 raptor 660 or aftermarket are your choices. herd the rappy shock makes a huge difference. i know the 400 frnt conversion on my 300 did

 

I believe the rear shock from a Warrior will also fit, and it has the long hose for the resivoir so you can mount it anywhere. The biggest problem with the 01 Raptor rear is the very short hose on the res, I had to put a 14" long one on so I could clamp the res to the frame on my son's 300ex. Warrior shocks may not be as good as Raptor shocks, but there are a lot more of them out there, and probably a lot cheaper.

I don't think they changed them, as long as the bottom is set up the same as the 300ex shock, it should bolt in.
