Default Advise on which ATV to buy?

I live in south east texas. I am mostly buying the ATV to use on a deer lease in east texas. The terrain includes a lot of fallen timber, thick brush, and steep creeks. I will be hauling corn, feeders, and deer back and forth from camp. I want to use the ATV for building food plots which means pulling a disc and other implements. I also have two 100 acre farms for working cattle. Duties include running fence lines pulling a trailer and also building food plots with the disc and other implements, but, on the farm I have a 90 hp Kubota.

I will be loading the ATV in the back of my truck and hauling it back and forth.

I was thinking the grizzly 700. The Polaris 850 seems like it is to heavy and will require a lot of service work. The Honda might have a better transmission. I dunno? Any advice would be appreciated...

I'm not sure why you think the Polaris XP 850 would need more service work, I've had mine for about 9 mo. and have changed the oil & filters is all. The Polaris machines also have the best built frames (heaviest and strongest) and have the largest cargo and towing capacity of all the other atv's, along with the most HP (70).
The 700 Grizzly is a good machine too.
My advice would be to test drive them all and make your decision based on what you think fits you the best.

The Honda Foreman 500 is the quintessential work quad! Nice simple reliable no nonsense manual transmission. Super low 1st gear, so it doesn't need a subtransmission. Also, for your application you want to stick with an SRA machine.

In my less-than-humble opinion the ideal machine for your needs would be the Polaris Sportsman X2 800. It will haul more weight than any other quad on the market. It's maintenance needs are pretty basic. It has a pickup style bed in the back that is about 20 inches by 45 or so. It can change to a 2 seat quad in seconds. The pickup bed hauls 400 lbs. and it can tow 1500 lbs. You can get a "lock and ride" gun scabbard for it that installs in seconds to the quad. Nice and sturdy. I've put almost 1500 miles on my 500 without a problem and only routine maintenance. Other than on tight twisty trails it's a great all around quad. The weight gives you more traction and it comes with a metal skidplate that is useful for going over downed trees and in the rocks. As others have said, try as many out as you can and see what you like the best. There aren't really any bad quads out from the major makers these days.
