Carb Factory/Suggested Settings 330
#1
Does anyone know how or where I can find the factory settings for a 330 trailboss. Or the suggesting carb settings for a 330. 2005. Also, which jet controls air and which controls fuel. Pilot jet (smaller) and Main Jet(larger?) Any help would be gr8.

both jets are for fuel flow. pilot jet is for idle to say 1/8/1/4 throttle and main is for there up. you should have a fuel screw w/ a spring on the side of the carb for adjustment. not sure what the adjustment would be though. just make small 1/4 turn adjustments and make sure you know where you started to set it back if it doesnt work. actually cant remember if thats a 2 stroke or 4. 4 stroke would be a fuel screw and air screw for a 2 stroke i do beleave but some one correct me if im incorrect.

these are fixed jets, not adjustable. you have a 122.5 main and a 42.5 pilot jet. there just a brass screw w/ a hole in them to let the gas pass through. in there inside the carb and can not be seen unless you take it apart. your big screw w/ a spring is the idle adjustment.

I'm confused then. When I looked up the carb settings, it talks about how many turns out the jets should be set at and everyone i see talking about the turns. What are they talking about? This is a Mukuni 43mm CV. on a four stroke 330 trailboss just so we both know what equipment were talking about.

The fuel screw is on the bottom of carb, may be covered by a brass plug,if so you need to drill a hole in the plug and screw a metal screw in it and pull it out, screw should be set at 2 to 2.5 turns out, the only other screw is the idle screw, the needle will vary by how rich or lean the engine is running, raise it to make it richer.
