Default 700 running rough

I have a 07 700 sportsman efi that once on a while will run rough. It has the code 41 that is a sensor for the intake air temp sensor. I believe it is a fuel issue because it will idle but when you give it gas it bogs but you can burp the throttle to make it go. When you do that it will kind of go but sometimes backfires. I'm thinking a sensor but not sure any ideas.

Thanks

i think it sounds like you answered your own question..those efi systems have those sensors so it knows how much fuel to push through the injector...if it doesnt know the amount of air getting pulled in (which changed with temperature and/or altitude) then it could send in too much or too little fuel

Check the Tbip wire harness. You will find it under the seat on the tube going to the air box. It has 4 wires out of it check and see that all wires are not pinched and are in the connector as I have replaced this harness 2 time for the same reason and code 41. Search Tbip and you will see all the post.

I've been looking at diagrams try to figure where these things are and I wasn't finding any sensors called intake air temp. Is the t-bap wiring harness the main one along the frame that branches off to the t-map sensor. I'm think the t-map sensor on top of the boot for the throttle body is my problem or is there some other sensor some where else. I'll check it out tonight.

Thanks
