Default Newbie ? about tire sizes

Hey all I'm new to ATV's getting old and need one now. Anyway I have recently inherited a 98 Honda Foreman xrt400fw and the previous owner had put new tires on it. My question is with the bike being full time 4x4, The front is 25x10.00 12 and the back is 26x12.00 12. With the difference of .7 is that enough to harm the drive train on hard packed surfaces( Not pavement). Thxs

I checked the manual first, oem size was 24 front and back. The rims are after market also not sure if that matters.

i would put the same tire size on then, it is putting the drive train in a bind with the wrong size tire on there
