Default My new 1995 Polaris 300 2x4

Hey Everyone. Today I just picked up my 1995 Polaris 300 2x4. I have been riding it quite a bit. Anyways, We have about 5 acres and the neighbors don't mind road riding, just the noise. The muffler clanks quite a bit cus it's held on by da springs. Any Ideas on how to make the clanking stop? I'd like to get that fixed so that they can stop complaining about qrecking the peace. The engine itself really isn't that loud just when the muffler buzzes.

Yea these springs are really rusty... Do you think that will fix the rattling?

Is there anything I can get to quiet down how loud the muffler is (not the rattling) Or maybe put steel wool in there?

Yea I know.... All my neighbors are fine with it.... except our next door neighbors. My other neighbors have 4 stroke machines which aren't nearly as loud but these people moved here to get away from kids on loud thing... Oh well. I'll ask my Polaris dealer today if there is anything I might be able to do to make it a little bit quiter.

agree, you could get new dount gaskets, and springs, and that should fix the rattling, and any possible leaks that you may have
