Default scratch and scuff removel coupound?

I like to clean up the plastic covers on the honda fine scratches ,scuff marks and loss of color .I was thinking in light sanding with 1500 wet@dry paper any one have any good coupounds I can use a buffer on that will remove fine scratches from the 1500 paper?

I've heard good things about the 3 bottle stuff from Novus, but haven't used it myself.

Would require patience, and probably a power buffer used with a bit of finesse.

It takes a long time and a good amount of buffing skills....... I used to detail cars and I've done ATV plastics too, it is all about the layers.....

After the 1500, you will need to go to 2000, then wet sand with some clay, then use the buffer wheel to first cut with a cutting compound, then slowly move up until you are up to a polish with a foam pad......it takes a while but you can bring back a shin to anything.

You won't get from 1500 to a shine in one step, it will take several.
