i am looking at a 2005 polaris predator 500 for sale. a dealership is asking $2,800. its red and black. looks realy nice in the one picture they showed.

is this a quality quad and is that a good price? i would really appreciate any help or suggestions you might have.

also my friend just bought a new 2007 honda 400ex. how does the performance compare between the two? is it faster and quicker than his 400?

 

I believe the '05 is the first year to have reverse. Polaris also had a lot of the bugs worked out by then. You could find one cheaper outside the dealership, but $2800 doesn't sound aweful if it is in ready to run shape. As for being faster than the Honda, yeah. That quad wouldn't have any problems beating an EX, even a mildly modded one.

 

i would rather go to dealership. thats just me though. plus try to talk the price down a lil, dont hurt to try
