Strange Stalling Problem - When Turning Left
#1
After a lot of carb attention, I finally got my 88 300TRX FW to start and run very well. However, I still have one strange problem that puzzles me. . .
My ATV starts easily and idles nicely. It also does great under throttle. However, if I sitting at idle, or moving very slowly and turn the handlebars hard to the left, the ATV will die. This only happens when I turn hard to the left.
My first instinct is that I am causing some kind of electrical short, however, I can prevent it from stalling by giving it a little bit of throttle. Since it can be prevented with a little more throttle, it causes me to eliminate an electrical issue. That then makes it a fuel issue. But how in the world could turning my handlebars hard left cause any fuel issue. I can see no connection at all unless I am by chance pinching a critical vacuum line. Is that possible?
Your input is appreciated!
Thanks,
Jason

You got it!
The choke cable is binding and pulling at the hard left position. I guess I need to reroute it a little.
