lost key to 4wheeler, now what?

Default lost key to 4wheeler, now what?

hey guys, i have a 99 fourtrax and i have lost the key, can i get another key from my dealer or what, is there a better way of going about this problem, thanks alot guys !

there should be a number on the bottom of ignition switch or at least there was on my raptor ..any lock smith should be able to make you a key with that number. or just take them the switch and they can make one that way aswell

On the side of the ignition switch there is a set of 6 numbers/letters .. The last 3 are the key number Honda uses 4 possible keys lettered "A , B , C , D" so the last 3 digits will be something like "A81" or "B12" which is the key code (the same key code is on the old key/s) .. A locksmith could make you a key if you had the old key or if he has the key code info ..

We make Honda keys here is the code book and key cutter..

Bring ignition to a key smith and they will make a key. They did for me with my Honda XL600 on/off road motor bike. It was cheap and fast.

For around $25 you could just get a new ignition switch thats not really hard to put in either
