New X2 Cargo boxes.....
#1
Howdy everyone.....Just got my new X2 cargo boxes (#2877921). They came with the lock and ride anchor kits and a small rubber bungee. They seem to be fairly roomy and I like the fit. When clamping the latch it feels like the lid is sealing tight.....as for being dust tight and waterproof, we shall see. NoJoke

Nice boxes! I must say I really feel that these Polaris Lock&Ride boxes are seriously UNDERRATED! I have a rear cargo for my Sportsman and LOVE IT! One of the best add-ons I have done yet, lots of room and back support and feel it adds a safety advantage too.
Enjoy!

Howdy to you all......I got them from Motosports of Ukiah. There are 130.00 less 15% if you order online. They had to do a freight thing and that added more dollars........ but it is what it is. It was cheaper than me driving there to pick up the product.....plus I wanted them before this weekend. You just can't get around the freight costs because of the bulkiness of the items. A couple more pics too.....NoJoke

Was that $130 apiece or the 2 boxes for $130? If it is the 2 for $130 I'd get em. Maybe I'll go look for myself. Thanks, NoJoke. Yep, $130 apiece. I bought a big toolbox at Walmart for about $30. I'll go the cheap guys route for awhile and save up my pennies.

Moose.....take a look at the QuadBoss Lug cargo box. I was using that before the Polaris cargo boxes. I put the four gallon RotoPax for gas on the bottom of the X2 cargo bed and then the QuadBoss Lug box on top with two bungee's....works good. You should be able to pick up a lug box for a lot less than this link is asking.

Looking at the pics, it looks like there isn't any seal on the lids. Could a guy create a gasket for the lids and still get them to close and seal? I was thinking along the lines of canopy seal/ gasket material.
I've been using the Rubbermaid tough boxes in the winter and they do a fair job, but when they get covered with snow they still get a little water inside. How about the Quadboss, do they have a good seal?
