I went up to local honda dealer today to look at the honda 400exs. They had one 08 model left that they said they can get it to me for $5865 out the door. It was $5349 before the taxs/ dealer fees and such. Does that seem like a good price for an 08 model. I tried to talk them lower but he said that is the lowest he can go. Whats your thoughts? Thanks

 

um no you can get a leftover 07 for $4000 their trying to get you.only difference between 07-08 is the plastic

 

Yeah, that seems a little high even for where I live (which is not known as the cheapest state to buy atv's). Around here brand new leftover '07 400ex's are going for $3700+fees and '08s are $4600. For some perspective several of our local dealers are selling the 700xx for $5399 and the 450r for $4700. Sounds like your dealer is suffering from some wishful thinking...

 

it's kind of reasonable since you got it from a local dealer . but yes. moto134 is correct. you can still actually get it at a lower price.
