Default Scrambler cycle country plow help

I bought a used plow off local craigslist for the scrambler. Its a manual plow complete with mount (was on scrambler before also). I mounted it and set the cable. Question is...
I cannot pull the plow up and lock it into the raise position. It appears to be binding/hitting on the frame. Was wondering if the skidplates need to be removed for the plow to lift/lock or if the pulley is not set properly. Anyone have experience with this? It works, I just need to hold the handle to keep plow raised. Either way for $100 I figued I couldnt go wrong.

Go to Cycle Countries website. It has all installation manuals available for download. I just put a cycle country plow on my Trail blazer, which is probably the same mount for the scrambler. How high are you trying to raise the plow? I've got mine coming up about 5-6" off the ground. Any higher than that and the push tubes hit the frame.

Just looking to lift it until it locks into the raised position. Im assuming it does/will? Roughly 4"-5". Is it suppose to lock in raised position?

Check out this link for installation help on the manual lift.

I had one on a scrambler 400 4x4, cycle country product as well; the deal is with the manual lift, you have to set the cable and the lift handle has a "neutral" position or "ride" position in it. You will feel it when you are at the lift.
