Cool grizzly 660 front shocks on the front of a brute

Has anybody tried this? Acording to the works shocks website, their about the same lenght eye to eye(14.5" vs 14.13")
Ever since I put on 25" holeshot ATRs on my brute, the front end is way too stiff, I feel every single bump on the trail. I'm looking for an alternative to works or elka shocks. I find the yfz450 and raptor shocks too long and I,m concerned about premature wear of the CV joints. Any info would be nice. thanks

I have ohlins shocks on all four corners for my brute force. There for a 660 grizzly the fronts went right on lifted the front up maybe an 1'' rears I had to re mount the a-arm shock mounts to compensate for shock length. Just bought a 04' 700p so I'll be selling the brute but I'll take off the shocks first.
