The green 4wd indicator light on my dash won't work. Bulb burns in other sockets and the 4wd in engaging in and out ok. I don't know alot about electrical stuff so I am hoping someone could tell where the most likely problem area would be? Other than that no probs. How is everyone elses Kodiak's running?
Thanks

HI, I have had my neutral light to flash. The dealer replaced it for me. I have had the water pump to go out and choke plunger to stick. I really am happy with mine dispite all this happening to it.

Hope this url works.

Other than the water pump problem that I have been having, I'm still glad I got the Kodiak. Just not too pleased about the water pump going out twice on me. I have put the quad through a lot of crap and it has held up rather well.

No prob here other than rear pad at 700 miles. It has about 1000 hard miles on it. Dealer told me water pump failures were an early production run problem but keeping an eye on mine. Light must be a wiring problem. Dealer has replaced only one or 2 pumps early on out of hundreds sold.
The 2000 Kodiak has been such an excellent bike, I just bought a 95 Kodiak thats in great shape as a 2nd bike.

The center conductor in the socket well where the bulb goes may be the problem. Use a volt meter and measure if you are getting 12volt d.c out of there. If you are getting the 12 volts then the conductor is pushed down to far and not making connection. If no 12 volt.....you'll need a manual to repair this. Hope this helps.....
